Introduction : 今天的世代充满忧愁，很多人都感到抑郁、失望、不满足和郁郁不得志。他们慨叹人生只是空等待、求不得。对现况和将来，感到越来越担忧。人们普遍相信恶劣的处境不会改变，活多久，就累积多少愁。虽然也历过几次的欢欣，但随着韶华老去，愁苦有增无减。因此，统计数字告诉我们，过了65岁的人，自杀率最高，不少老人家越来越不快乐，越来越感到人生缺乏满足感。
「快乐」这个词，常常挂在人的口边，但每个人的定义都不一样。因此，让我先为快乐作简单的定义。快乐是对人生某些事感到满意的反应态度，而那些事是偶然发生、没法预先计划或设计的。换句话说，那些事是随意发生，难以捉摸的。总的来说，一般有关快乐的定义，是出乎意料发生了一件事，使人感到欢欣及满足。但是喜乐却不是这样，它与快乐完全不同的是，不受外界发生的任何事影响。喜乐是不论遇到的事有多困难、有多麻烦，内心深处仍然保持平静安稳的信心。
