Introduction : 释经讲道的基础-约翰·麦克阿瑟：非讲解式传道侵犯了上帝对思想和灵魂的权威。讲解经文剥夺了基督对教会的主权，使基督无法在教会中行使他的首领地位。不采用讲解式传道不仅阻碍了上帝的权威，还妨碍了圣灵的工作，因为圣灵使用神的话语作为救恩的工具。讲解经文的意义就是经文的本身，而不是个人的理解。理解经文意义的关键在于还原原始背景，而不是将圣经现代化。 牧师的权威来自于代表上帝讲道，而不是基于职位、学历、才华或经验。只有上帝才有权威在教会中讲话。
-基督是教会的头，他通过圣经来行使他的首领地位。基督对教会的主权通过神的话语传达给教会。圣灵使用神的话语作为救恩和成圣的手段。因此，非讲解式传道阻碍了圣灵的工作，使人无法通过神的话语得救和成圣。
