Introduction : 此系列由吕沛渊牧师主讲，特为介绍「操练敬虔-基督教要义」。总共八集。加尔文的名著《基督教要义》，被历史学家公认为「改变人类历史的十本书」之一，是讲明改教信仰、讲解圣经、辩明福音的最佳著作，完整而全备地介绍「基督教信仰与生活」。本书重新编译此经典巨著，以「每日灵修」的方式帮助读者，一日读一篇，循序以进；并精选圣经经文列于每日页首，先行阅读默想，然后再研读每日内文。每日篇章加上标题，以利读者掌握要点，操练敬虔。基督徒常在岁末的回顾中，一方面感动于神对我们的信实与慈爱，另一方面却不免叹息，常因诸多的理由，牺牲了自己最宝贵、最宁静、最丰富的灵修时间；即便有按日读经，却又受限于自己的理解度，而流于赶进度式的浮面阅读，无法进入「内室」的交通。吕沛渊牧师的《操练敬虔》，正是为了克服以上的问题而设计的。他把不容易阅读的《基督教要义》译文，转为平易的灵修材料，且精心斟酌份量，不多不少，逐日分粮，让读者不但有饱足感，也能在30分钟内，咀嚼出真理的香气。
