Introduction : 林慈信博士录制《教会论与教会生活》系列，这专题是林牧师特别为教会中的平信徒、长老、与执事预备的，是对教会的建造有益的。这专题是出于威敏斯特神学院，克罗尼院长的著作。克罗尼院长也曾是林牧师的老师。《教会论与教会生活》Living in Christ’s Church (Great Commission Publications)这本书是众多成人主日学教科书之一，由PCA与OPC两宗派合办的主日学教材出版社所出版的书，也是专为平信徒而写的书。 林慈信博士，西敏神学院神学硕士，天普大学历史系哲学博士，加州洛杉矶“中华展望China Horizon”创办人。致力于护教与神学信仰的工作，在神学、宣道学、及历史学等都有相当的造诣。林牧师不仅著力于出版归正信仰的书籍，并且发表至少500篇的论文。著重系统神学、护教学、清教徒的成圣神学与圣经辅导学等；同时任教于西敏神学院、圣约神学院等校。推动圣经辅导不遗馀力。
