「当我认识耶稣基督和祂的话语之后，我知道把第一次留给配偶是十分美好和特别的事。我 16 岁那年接受访问，採访员问我有甚麽是永不会做的，我当时甚麽也答不上来，只懂答：『我不进行婚前性行为。』于是，这句话，便刊出来了。其实，忍耐是爱的具体表现（哥林多前书 13 章），我绝不怀疑性爱也是爱的表现方式，但性爱需要藉著婚姻的委身，才显出是真爱！今时今日，性的引诱，无孔不入，叫人防不胜防，所以我们必须坚守原则，认定性爱是留给妻子的礼物，是独一无二的，也是值得珍惜的。」
